To commemorate twenty (20) years of Hung Lan’s Anniversary of death, Hung Lan’s family has cooperated with “Suoi Viet” band orchestra in making the A C D “HUNG LAN – KHUC HOAN CA DOI CON”
From the beginning of 2007 to now, Hung Lan’s family has just issued the A C D in Vietnam for VND25,000 per disk. From April 2007, we recently issue the A C D at the cost of US10.00 per disck overseas.
These are selected hymns due to our late Father’s composed time. There are about eleven (11) hymns among them hymn No. 2: “Ton Vinh Ba Ngoi” & hymn No. 8 “Dem Thanh Vo Cung” were translated into Vietnamese version by Hung Lan, himself. Particularly, hymn No. 11 “Suy Tu Cuoc Doi” was composed two (2) months before his death, and the hymn No. 12 “Bai Ca Van Vat” is Hung Lan’s most favorite hymn as it carries folk harmony.
Regarding the band choir and the music band, it is performed by students from HCM City Conservatory and “Suoi Viet” band, and Mr. Nguyen Bach, who is HCM City Conservatory lecturer, is the bandmaster.
